Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure / SRE to join our Engineering team. The role focuses on building a resilient, automated infrastructure atop AWS/GCP with Terraform and Kubernetes to empower fast delivery without sacrificing security or stability.

You will report to a Staff/Senior Staff Engineer and work remotely with teams across the US, with potential hybrid options in your metro.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with diverse tech stack.
• Experience delivering cross-functional, cross-pod or cross-company initiatives.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and raise engineering quality.

Responsibilities

• Become expert on team domains such as DevOps, site reliability, and cloud best practices.
• Lead planning, execution and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and partners to solve hard problems.
• Mentor engineers and drive adoption of best practices in code and operations.
