Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure / SRE to join our Engineering team in New York City. You will work across Core Technology to build a resilient, automated platform using AWS/GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

This role reports to a Staff/Senior Staff Engineer and follows a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office. Base pay ranges from $180,504 to $236,911 per year, with benefits, equity grants, unlimited vacation, and annual performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading cross-team technical contributions.
• Experience building fault-tolerant, scalable systems.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead complex infra projects across multiple teams.
• Develop expert knowledge in DevOps, SRE, and cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to solve problems.
