Fuze Health is hiring a Senior Database Administrator to lead our Hospice database modernization. You will drive SQL Server modernization on EC2, plan migrations to AWS RDS, and modernize SSIS/SSRS ETL and reporting estates while ensuring HITRUST E1 compliance.

• 8+ years of database administration experience.
• Deep expertise with Microsoft SQL Server (2016+) performance tuning, HA, DR.
• Hands-on with SQL Server upgrades and EoS migrations.
• SSIS/SSRS development and administration experience.
• Experience with AWS RDS (SQL Server) setup and migration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead SQL Server modernization on EC2 and migration to AWS RDS or in-place upgrades.
• Migrate and maintain SSIS ETL packages and SSRS reports, exploring AWS-native options or in-place upgrades.
• Drive database cost optimization through right-sizing, RI evaluation, and storage tiering.
• Upskill Hospice SQL DBA team on AWS database operations and cloud best practices.
• Establish cloud-native monitoring with Datadog and CloudWatch; implement backup/DR processes with AWS Backup.
• Collaborate with DevOps on Terraform for RDS infrastructure and automation.
• Ensure HITRUST E1 compliance across database systems.
