Job summary

Google is looking for a Technical Account Manager II for Google Cloud Consulting across multiple US locations, including Chicago. You will lead the technical and strategic journey for customers adopting Google Cloud, coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive transformation and successful engagements.

The role emphasizes strong stakeholder management, cloud operations experience, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with stakeholders, driving customer technical implementations or transformation programs.
Experience supporting customers in cloud operations, cloud technical support, or cloud consulting.

Responsibilities

Accelerate customer adoption of Google Cloud by leading the implementation journey and managing timelines.
Advocate for customer needs to overcome blockers and drive feature development across multiple work streams.
Develop relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and lead quarterly business reviews.
Plan for customer events and launches, coordinating with Support, Engineers, and SREs to ensure success.
Develop best practices from engagements to scale adoption through partners and initiatives.
