Job summary

Highmark Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced account management professional to partner with Client Managers, maintain and grow existing business, and prepare proposals and meeting materials during renewals.

Role involves analyzing utilization data, developing implementation specifications, and managing complex accounts across a range of non-standard products and designs. Hybrid or remote work is possible, with onsite days required if near an office.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of related, progressive experience.
• State specific Producer Licenses for Life, Accident & Health are required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire
• HIPAA and privacy policy compliance as described in company guidelines and policies

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Managers to maintain and grow existing business and ensure positive relationships.
• Prepare benefit design analyses for proposals and quotes.
• Run financial reports and basic analysis on utilization data and market research.
• Develop specifications for implementing new products for clients.
• Possibly conduct enrollment meetings during renewals.
• Resolve account issues and coordinate with internal teams for service delivery.
• Coordinate with Sales Support Analysts on account processing and setup.
• Create communications for account implementation activities and action plans.
• Serve as primary contact for day-to-day account service issues.
• Support customers through contract implementation and ongoing relationship management.
