Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking an experienced account support professional to partner with Client Managers, maintain and grow key accounts, and help prepare proposals and renewal materials.

The role involves analysis, coordination, and problem resolution for large, complex groups across health plans and benefits. The position may be hybrid or remote; onsite is required 3 days a week if within 50 miles of an office (T, W, TH).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related, progressive experience.
• State-specific Producer License for Life, Accident & Health required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Manager(s) to maintain and grow existing business and ensure positive account relationships.
• Assist in the preparation of benefit design analysis for proposals and quotes.
• Run financial reports or perform basic financial analysis on utilization data and market research.
• Develop detailed specifications for implementation of new products for clients.
• May conduct enrollment meetings during the account renewal process.
• Analyze operational business problems and provide resolutions and process improvements.
• Leverage internal resources to deliver the best service and resolve issues for assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales Support Analysts responsible for account processing and setup.
• Create documents and work plans for effective communication during account implementations.
• Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day account service issues.
• Support customers during implementation of contracts and ongoing relationships; ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Adapt procedures to meet complex requirements; provide direction to other incumbents.
• Solve complex problems with a broad perspective and innovative solutions.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
