Job summary

Silverback Strategies is seeking an Associate Director, Client Services to lead strategic client relationships and own client health end to end. You will connect marketing performance to real business outcomes and collaborate with Paid Media, SEO, Measurement, and Creative teams to deliver value for top accounts.

You'll drive retention and growth by identifying opportunities, managing expectations, and guiding delivery teams to maintain healthy margins while delivering measurable results for

Qualifications

• 7+ years in client services or strategy, with at least 4 years at a digital or performance marketing agency.
• Paid media fluency with Google Ads, Meta Ads, analytics, and CRMs.
• Deductive reasoning to connect data sources, conversations, and team input to root causes.
• Clear communication to explain complex performance stories to CMOs and stakeholders.
• Self-awareness and openness to feedback; ability to adapt and improve.
• Big-picture thinking linking campaigns to client revenue and agency growth.
• Intellectual curiosity about client industries and marketing changes.
• Comfort with ambiguity; make sound calls with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Understand each client's business and marketing performance to develop cross-functional strategies.
• Triangulate data from Google Ads, Meta Ads, Analytics, and CRMs to tell a clear story.
• Build healthy client relationships through active listening and follow-through.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and partner with Sales on expansions.
• Plan 3-month rolling projects balancing client goals with margin targets.
• Regularly surface opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Turn client wins into case studies to fuel marketing and thought leadership.
• Provide weekly insights and perspectives to keep the team and clients ahead.
