Job summary

Directive Consulting, a remote-first B2B marketing agency, seeks an Account Director, Client Strategy to own a high-value client portfolio. You will align strategy, growth, and execution across Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, Creative, and RevOps, while serving VP- and C-suite stakeholders and guiding cross-functional teams.

You will lead renewals, upsell, and cross-sell motions, driving retention and expansion with autonomy and commercial rigor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in agency or client services with B2B SaaS/tech clients.
• Proven renewals, upsell, and cross-sell experience on a $2M+ portfolio.
• Fluency across Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, Creative, and RevOps.
• Experience partnering with VP-, CMO-, and CRO-level stakeholders.
• Interest in AI and automation to enhance marketing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior strategic lead for enterprise/high-growth clients, owning executive communication and partnership value.
• Develop renewal, upsell, and cross-sell strategies tied to NRR performance.
• Design cross-channel growth plans across Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, Creative, RevOps.
• Own portfolio economics including forecasting, margins, scope, and renewals.
• Translate performance data into business narratives connecting marketing to revenue.
