Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a senior relationship manager to act as the focal point for elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors. You will manage relationships, provide consultative support, and coordinate with internal teams to drive plan retention and growth.

You will leverage industry knowledge, travel as needed, and contribute to client satisfaction while promoting Ascensus’ products and services. This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in retirement services industry or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ direct client relationships within financial services admin environment.
• Certification or working towards ASPPA, CEBS, etc. is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a cohesive team environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to produce quality work under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication with presentation experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Protect and handle confidential data to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
• Serve as focal point for existing big and elite advisor plan clients and their financial advisors.
• Provide consultative advice and support to ensure client success and plan retention.
• Coordinate with internal Ascensus departments to resolve client issues.
• Develop education and communication strategies with account decision makers.
• Cross-sell revenue opportunities and educate on products and services.
• Analyze data and track communications to improve client relationships.
• Travel as required to meet clients and attend meetings.
