Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Retail Teller/Relationship Specialist to deliver exceptional client service in person and over the phone. You will expand client relationships, cross-sell banking products, and coordinate with internal specialists for complex needs.

Responsibilities include handling teller duties as needed, following risk controls, and ensuring compliance with policies. Weekend and travel flexibility are required to support branch operations and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background checks and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide an industry leading client service experience in person and on the phone.
• Cross-train to perform teller duties as needed.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Meet or exceed client service and branch sales targets by offering products and services to develop and retain relationships.
• Refer more complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
