Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a Regular Retail Client Service Associate to build and expand client relationships both in person and by phone. You will provide financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals to team members for growth opportunities.

The role includes cross training to perform teller duties as needed, with emphasis on meeting service and sales targets while upholding bank policies and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide client service in person and on the phone, building client relationships.
• Meet or exceed service and sales targets by offering products and referrals.
• Support sales process by consulting with clients and routing complex needs to specialists.
• Handle teller transactions as needed and assist greeting clients in-branch.
