Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation seeks a Regular, full-time teller/client service associate to deliver exceptional service in-branch and by phone, while developing and expanding client relationships. You will present financial solutions based on consultative conversations and refer complex needs to internal specialists.

Responsibilities include handling teller transactions as needed, maintaining risk/compliance standards, and supporting branch sales goals through product knowledge and strong client

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
• SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliance within 30 days, plus NMLS background check.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and potential locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours, with possible travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry-leading client service in person and over the phone to develop and expand client relationships.
• Offer financial solutions based on consultative conversations and refer to specialists as needed.
• Assist with teller duties as needed and adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Engage clients with courteous, proactive service and uncover client needs during transactions.
• Support branch sales targets through proactive product knowledge and service excellence.
• Participate in team leadership routines and ongoing sales trainings.
