Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a Regular full-time teller/retail service associate to deliver timely, accurate client transactions and build lasting relationships. You will guide clients through digital banking options and support outbound sales activities while meeting branch needs.

The role requires strong communication skills, weekend/extended hours availability, and the ability to travel for temporary staffing needs. Training and development are provided as part of the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversations and performing transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound calling and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through meetings and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay updated on policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
