Job summary

AECOM seeks a Client Account Manager with a focus on environmental compliance to grow client relationships and drive revenue. The role involves managing an existing book of clients, identifying new opportunities, and presenting tailored environmental solutions to public and private sector partners.

Hybrid role based in the Western US region, with travel to client sites and coordination across internal teams to deliver proposals and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in managing client accounts, sales and drive business development initiatives within environmental compliance services.
• Travel of 25-50% will be required, as this is a client facing role.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to expand AECOM’s environmental compliance services.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the public and private sectors.
• Leverage an existing book of clients to generate sales and secure high-value environmental projects.
• Work closely with internal teams to develop and present proposals, technical solutions, and service offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to align with client needs and financial objectives.
• Provide industry insight and stay updated on environmental regulations, compliance standards, and emerging trends.
• Support cross-business collaboration to provide integrated environmental solutions across multiple sectors.
• Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term strategic vision of AECOM.
