Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Client Account Manager/Senior Project Manager focused on environmental compliance to support growth and client engagement. This role leverages an existing book of clients and requires strong relationship management and deep knowledge of environmental regulations.

Hybrid position based in US locations including Houston, Austin, Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, Fort Collins, Minneapolis, or Orange; travel 25-50% is expected. US citizenship and driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience managing client accounts, sales and drive business development within environmental compliance services.
• Travel of 25-50% will be required, as this is a client facing role.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to expand environmental compliance services.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in public and private sectors.
• Leverage an existing book of clients to generate sales and secure high-value environmental projects.
• Work closely with internal teams to develop and present proposals, technical solutions, and service offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to align with client needs and financial objectives.
• Provide industry insight and stay updated on environmental regulations and trends.
• Support cross-business collaboration to provide integrated environmental solutions across multiple sectors.
• Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term strategic vision of AECOM.
