Job summary

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Client Account Manager with an Environmental Compliance focus to lead strategic client engagements and grow revenue across the Western Region. This hybrid role leverages an existing book of clients and a deep understanding of environmental regulations to deliver integrated solutions.

You will partner with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and expand services in public and private sectors, traveling 25–50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationinmanagingclient accounts, sales and drive business development initiatives within environmental compliance services.
• Travel of 25-50% will be required, as this is a client facing role.
• Valid US Driver's License and pre-employment driving record verification are required.
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to expand AECOMnvironmental compliance services.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the public and private sectors.
• Leverage an existing book of clients to generate sales and secure high-value environmental projects.
• Work closely with internal teams to develop and present proposals, technical solutions, and service offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to align with client needs and financial objectives.
• Provide industry insight and stay updated on environmental regulations, compliance standards, and emerging trends.
• Support cross-business collaboration to provide integrated environmental solutions across multiple sectors.
• Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term strategic vision of AECOM.

Education

Bachelor7s degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field

8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in managing client accounts, sales and drive business development initiatives within environmental compliance services
