Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Client Account Manager/Senior Project Manager focused on environmental compliance to grow our environmental services portfolio and manage key client relationships. This role requires leveraging an existing book of clients, driving revenue, and delivering environmental solutions with cross-team collaboration.

Based in the Western U.S. with hybrid work options, travel will be required to engage with public and private sector clients, negotiate contracts and stay current on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in managing client accounts, sales and drive business development initiatives within environmental compliance services.
• Travel of 25-50% will be required, as this is a client facing role.
• Valid US Driver's License and pre-employment driving record verification are required.
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to expand AECOM’s environmental compliance services.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the public and private sectors.
• Leverage an existing book of clients to generate sales and secure high-value environmental projects.
• Work closely with internal teams to develop and present proposals, technical solutions, and service offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to align with client needs and financial objectives.
• Provide industry insight and stay updated on environmental regulations, compliance standards, and emerging trends.
• Support cross-business collaboration to provide integrated environmental solutions across multiple sectors.
• Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term strategic vision of AECOM.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field

Master’s degree is highly preferred
