Job summary

Farm Family seeks a Senior Claims Specialist to join our team and handle a range of liability and property claims from our offices. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policy.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. The position is 100% in-office and requires working from designated offices with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; insurance designations may substitute for experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience adjudicating claims, preferably general liability and commercial auto.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate first-party property damage claims within limits, impacting team results.
• Provide laser-focused customer service and build lasting client connections.
• Analyze forms, endorsements and instructions to determine policy coverage.
• Investigate claims with interviews and data gathering; coordinate experts as needed.
• Manage diaries and reserves; ensure timely case progression and resolution.
• Report trends to management and participate in claims committee discussions.
