Job summary

Farm Family is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join our team and work from our Omaha office. Alternatively, we can fill this position in our Albany, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, or Richmond (VA) offices.

This is a 100% in-office role requiring on-site work during standard business hours. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle general liability claims, including some commercial auto, while ensuring coverage alignment, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
• Minimum of two years' experience adjudicating claims, preferably general liability and commercial auto.
• Must obtain state licenses and maintain CE requirements.
• Excellent communication and client service focus; strong negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Guidewire ClaimsCenter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate first-party property damage claims under supervision with significant authority.
• Provide top-tier customer service and develop long-lasting client relationships with insureds and brokers.
• Analyze policies, endorsements, and loss facts to determine coverage and liability.
• Investigate claims thoroughly, interview involved parties, and manage case progression.
• Maintain reserves, coordinate experts and resources, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and present cases to Claims Committee.
