Job summary

Farm Family is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join our claims team and work from an in-office location. The role involves investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement of general liability and some auto claims, with adherence to regulations and company reserving policies.

This is a 100% in-office position with on-site work required at a designated office. The candidate will collaborate with other departments and vendors to deliver superb results for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years' experience adjudicating claims preferred, especially general liability and commercial auto.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate first-party property damage claims under supervision.
• Provide focused customer service to insureds and brokers.
• Analyze claims forms, policies, endorsements to determine coverage.
• Investigate claims, interview involved parties, gather facts.
• Manage diaries and ensure timely resolution and reserves.
• Prepare escalation notices and present to Claims Committee.
• Report trends to claims management and underwriters.
