Job summary

Farm Family seeks a Senior Claims Specialist to join our claims team. This 100% in-office role can be based in Omaha, Albany, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, or Richmond, with five days in the office to strengthen culture and collaboration.

You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle general liability claims, including some commercial auto, ensuring proper coverage, communications, and timely resolution within regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; two years' claims adjudication experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain state licenses and maintain CE requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate first-party property damage claims under supervision.
• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims with customers and counsel.
• Assess coverage and coordinate inspections, experts, and third parties.
• Maintain reserves and ensure timely case progress toward settlement.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Provide updates to management and underwriters on trends and developments.
• Deliver professional service and build lasting client relationships.
