Job summary

Counterpart, an insurtech platform, is seeking a senior Claims professional to join our remote team in the United States. You will investigate coverage, liability, and damages, manage claims to timely resolutions, and collaborate with carriers and risk engineers to drive data-informed decisions. A JD and state adjuster licenses are highly preferred, with travel approx.

10–15%. You will build strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, and internal teams while upholding Counterpart's brand

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in claims or related field.
• 3+ years in litigating or managing dental/medical professional liability claims.
• Bachelor's degree; J.D. and professional designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely investigations into coverage, liability, and damages for each claim.
• Manage each claim to achieve timely and cost-effective resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with policyholders, brokers, carrier partners, and risk engineers.
• Direct and monitor assignments to experts and outside counsel and ensure service standards.
• Support data collection and use the claim system to capture critical details.
