Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills navigating a paperless claim file system.
• Legal knowledge and strong technical claim skills.

Responsibilities

• Recognize exposures and ensure reserving is appropriate and timely.
• Evaluate coverage issues and risk transfer opportunities.
• Conduct thorough independent investigations using resources like the internet, PACER, and experts.
• Manage litigation with proper planning, budgeting, and counsel partnership.
• Exhibit strong negotiation skills.
• Effectively communicate exposures internally and externally.
• Formulate proper resolution strategy for best claim outcome.
• Occasional travel for mediations, trials, and related meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
