You will investigate coverage, liability, and damages, manage claims to timely resolutions, and collaborate with policyholders, brokers, and carriers to uphold service standards in a remote US environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess all required state claim adjuster licenses or be able to obtain them within 90 days of hire.
• 7+ years professional experience, with 3+ years litigating or managing dental/medical professional liability claims.
• Bachelor’s degree required; law degree (J.D.) and professional designations preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of initiative and leadership skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Comfort with a paperless claims environment and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely investigations into the coverage, liability, and damages for each claim assigned to you.
• Actively manage each claim assigned to you in a way that yields timely, cost-effective resolution.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with policyholders, brokers, carrier partners, and risk engineers.
• Direct and monitor assignments to experts and outside counsel, ensuring service standards are met.
• Support data collection and analyses using the Counterpart claim system.
• Identify and elevate insights into emerging claims trends across industries and geographies.
• Provide user feedback to improve claim processes, guidelines, and systems.
• Ensure all touchpoints with insureds and brokers reflect our brand and mission.
