Job summary

United Grid Solutions seeks a senior civil-structural engineer to provide expert design and supervision for transmission substation projects. You will lead discipline work, manage schedules and budgets, and support proposals and cost estimating while coordinating with clients and other design teams.

The role requires ABET-accredited engineering education, a PE license, and 8+ years in power delivery. A strong mentoring and communication ability is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelors in Civil Engineering from a four-year college or university.
ABET-accredited engineering degree.
Professional Engineering (PE) license.

Responsibilities

Provide civil-structural design and direction on complex projects.
Lead discipline-specific work and manage project schedules and budgets.
Support proposal development, cost estimating, and business development.
Mentor designers/drafters and oversee junior staff.
Coordinate with customers and other design disciplines to resolve issues.
