United Grid Solutions is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support Transmission Substation engineering teams with design and project management duties. The role involves billable project work and proposal support, ensuring safe, cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include creating substation civil-structural drawings, managing schedules and budgets, and collaborating with engineers and clients to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 2–4 years civil/structural engineering experience in the electrical power delivery field.
• EIT certification preferred; PE license expected within two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil-structural design guidance on substation projects.
• Plan, organize, estimate, schedule, and monitor work activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare reports, calculations, sketches, and documentation with attention to quality.
