Job summary

United Grid Solutions is seeking a seasoned civil-structural engineer to provide technical leadership for Transmission Substation projects. You will supervise design teams, perform responsible charge engineering duties, and manage project schedules and budgets to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities include leading discipline-specific work, supporting proposals and business development, and coordinating with clients and other design disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• 8+ years in electrical power delivery engineering
• PE license required
• Experience leading civil-structural substation design and drawings

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline-specific work for projects and perform responsible charge engineering duties.
• Manage project schedules and budgets; support proposal development and cost estimating.
• Collaborate with internal engineers, designers, construction contractors, and clients.
• Review and create civil-structural drawing packages for substations, including foundations and structures.
