Job summary

United Grid Solutions is seeking a senior civil-structural engineer to provide design and supervision for transmission substation projects. You will deliver safe, cost-effective engineering, lead discipline work, and manage project schedules and budgets.

The role includes proposal support, cost estimating, and collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality results in compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program is required.
• PE license required for practice as engineer.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in the electrical power delivery field.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil-structural design and supervision for substation projects.
• Manage project schedules and budgets while ensuring quality and safety.
• Support proposals, cost estimating, and business development efforts.
• Coordinate with clients and other design disciplines; mentor junior staff.
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
