Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications at the ACP in Piketon, Ohio.

You will ensure structural steel, foundations, and equipment supports meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards from design through turnover. The role requires 5+ years in structural design, ABET degree, and the ability to obtain a Q security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of structural design, analysis and field support experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis for site modifications, including wind, seismic, and dynamic loads.
• Develop and review design packages for foundations, steel, and anchorage with focus on buildability.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams for loads and layouts.
• Support construction with field walkdowns, RFIs/RFCs, and as-built updates.
• Prepare procurement packages for fabrication and installation and support bid evaluations.
