Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead the engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications at the ACP in Piketon, Ohio.

You will ensure structural integrity of foundations, steel, and equipment supports while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance from design through turnover. The role requires 5+ years in structural design with ABET-accredited education and the ability to obtain a Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design, analysis and field support.
• Strong working knowledge of AISC and ACI seismic/building codes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications including wind, seismic, vibration, and thermal effects.
• Develop and review design packages for foundations, structural steel and equipment anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and I&C teams for loads, penetrations and layouts.
• Support construction with field walkdowns, RFIs/RFCs, and as-built updates.
• Prepare procurement packages (ROMs, SOWs) for subcontracted fabrication and installation.
