Centrus Energy in Piketon, Ohio seeks a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and execution of facility modifications in a safety-critical environment. You will ensure all foundations, structural steel, and supports meet stringent quality and regulatory standards from design through turnover.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design, analysis, and field support in regulated environments.
• Strong working knowledge of structural codes such as AISC and ACI; ability to obtain Q level clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural design and analysis for site modifications and verify capacity under wind, seismic, vibration, and thermal effects.
• Develop, review, and redline design packages (drawings, calculations, specs) for foundations, steel, and equipment anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams to integrate loads and layouts.
• Support field activities: walkdowns, RFIs/RFCs, as-builts, and safety/regulatory compliance.
• Prepare procurement packages (ROMs, SOWs) for fabrication and installation.
