Job summary

Centrus Energy Corp. in Piketon, Ohio is seeking a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to lead the engineering development, analysis, and execution of facility modifications in a safety-critical, regulated environment.

You will bridge design concepts and field execution, ensuring foundations, structural steel, concrete systems, and equipment supports meet quality and regulatory standards from design through turnover; collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams is essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design and field support.
• Experience in regulated, industrial, or nuclear environments.
• Knowledge of AISC and ACI codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design & analysis for site modifications, performing complex analyses for static and dynamic loads.
• Develop, review, and redline design packages for foundations, structural steel, and equipment anchorage.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and I&C teams.
• Support construction through field walkdowns and RFIs, ensuring safety and configuration control.
• Prepare procurement packages for fabrication and installation and assist in technical bid evaluations.
