Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a Civil Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple active projects. You will apply expertise in heavy civil construction, manage safety, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors to complete projects within time and budget.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of site development or heavy civil construction experience.
• At least 3 years in supervision as a superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and construction documents; knowledge of earthworks, underground utilities, stormwater, and paving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations across multiple active projects and meet milestones.
• Coordinate and schedule crews, subcontractors, equipment and materials.
• Review and interpret plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Ensure work aligns with plans, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Maintain daily communication with Project Managers on progress and challenges.
• Lead and develop foremen and field crews to raise productivity and accountability.
• Manage inspections, tests, and documentation required by authorities or clients.
• Identify risks or delays and apply corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily reports, timesheets, and material logs.
