B&S Site Development is seeking a Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee field operations across multiple active job sites in the United States. The role demands advanced knowledge of heavy civil construction, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

The incumbent will manage project execution, safety, scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, and ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in site development or heavy civil construction.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting civil plans and construction documents.
• Strong scheduling and communication skills; ability to lead and mentor field teams.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations; ability to manage risk and enforce standards.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all daily site operations and ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate and schedule crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Ensure work is performed according to design, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Monitor safety compliance and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Communicate daily with project managers regarding progress, issues, and solutions.
• Lead and mentor foremen and field crews to promote productivity and accountability.
• Manage inspections, testing, and documentation required by municipalities or clients.
• Identify potential risks or delays and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records including daily reports, timecards, and material logs.
