Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC, a fast-growing leader in large-parcel, mission-critical site development, seeks a Civil Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple active projects. This role requires deep experience in heavy civil construction, strong leadership, scheduling, safety oversight, and the ability to interpret complex construction documents.

You'll manage crews, coordinate subcontractors and equipment, ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery, and drive safety and quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in site development or heavy civil construction.
• Minimum 3 years in supervision as Superintendent or leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and construction documents.
• Solid knowledge of earthworks, underground utilities, stormwater systems and paving.
• Familiarity with construction safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate field personnel.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• OSHA 30 certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct field operations on multiple active projects.
• Schedule crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
• Review and interpret plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Ensure work is performed to plans, budget, and schedule.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce safety standards.
• Provide daily progress updates to Project Managers.
• Develop supervision teams and mentor foremen and field crews.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and documentation by regulatory bodies.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records including daily reports and timesheets.
