Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to join our Facilities team across multiple locations including Houston, TX. You will support site civil design from concept through construction and lead design efforts for facility and infrastructure projects.

The role requires 7–10 years of civil engineering experience, a BS in Civil Engineering, and the ability to manage tasks with independence. PE license is preferred; AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation/InRoads experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Ability to perform work requiring independent judgment and adapting engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform site civil design including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management for facility projects.
• Develop design solutions using AutoCAD Civil 3D and terrain modeling tools to support 3D coordination and visualization.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, and contractors.
• Support permitting and regulatory agency coordination.
• Assist with construction administration and respond to field questions as needed.
• Grow toward leading projects with guidance from senior engineers.
