Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Civil Engineering to join our Facilities team. This role is ideal for an engineer looking to expand technical ownership, contribute to complex facility and infrastructure projects across multiple market sectors, and advance skills from concept through construction.

The role involves site civil design, grading and drainage, utility coordination, permitting support, and construction-phase services, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and grow toward

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform site civil design including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management for facility projects.
• Develop design solutions using AutoCAD Civil 3D and terrain modeling tools to support 3D coordination and visualization.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, and contractors.
• Support permitting and regulatory agency coordination.
• Assist with construction administration and respond to field questions as needed.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to overall project success.
• Apply WSP’s quality management processes, including QA/QC reviews.
• Demonstrate sound engineering judgment while adapting and applying engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Grow toward leading projects with guidance, mentoring, and oversight from senior engineers.
