Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Civil Engineering to join our Facilities team. This role focuses on leading complex facility and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors, with opportunities to expand technical ownership and mentorship from senior engineers.

Locations include Boise, Madison, Minneapolis, Houston, and Austin. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams, manage site civil design from concept to construction, and advance your career within a global engineering firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Ability to perform work requiring independent judgment and adaptation of principles.
• Experience in land development, municipal utility design, water resources, or environmental engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform site civil design including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management for facility projects.
• Develop design solutions using AutoCAD Civil 3D and terrain modeling tools.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, and contractors.
• Support permitting and regulatory agency coordination.
• Assist with construction administration and respond to field questions as needed.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to overall project success.
• Apply WSP’s QA/QC processes and sound engineering judgment.
• Grow toward leading projects with guidance from senior engineers.
