Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with at least ten years of experience to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with the business development team and discipline leaders on proposals and provide leadership to a growing engineering group.

The ideal candidate will design sites, grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utilities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders while maintaining high standards of performance.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10+ years of applicable industry experience.
• Experience performing consulting services including Site Grading, Earthwork Calculations, Drainage calculations, erosion control design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts on a variety of projects.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with budget and schedule control.
• Develop fee and qualification-based proposals to support business development.
• Mentor and lead engineering professionals within a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with architect, owner, and contractor for coordinated drawings.
