Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with at least ten years of experience to join our Dallas, Texas office. You will lead civil design efforts, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and support business development through technical proposals.

Expertise in site grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and erosion control is preferred. You will mentor staff and deliver high-quality designs for commercial, institutional, and government projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of applicable industry experience.
• Experience delivering site grading, drainage, erosion control, and utilities design.
• Strong lead for multi-discipline design teams and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil analysis, design, and detailing on diverse projects.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects with budget/schedule awareness.
• Interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, and contractors on deliverables.
• Develop proposals and support business development activities.
