Coffman Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with at least ten years of experience to join our collaborative team in Texas.

The candidate will work with our business development group to market services and manage multiple projects, while mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate has strong design and project management skills, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and water/wastewater/stormwater design, and a track record of delivering high-quality, compliant civil engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from ABET-accredited program is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required for Civil Engineering.
• 10 years of applicable industry experience in civil/environmental engineering.
• Experience performing consulting services for site grading, earthwork, drainage, erosion/sediment control, and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of projects.
• Manage and design multiple concurrent projects and budgets.
• Lead design team efforts and coordinate with architects/owners/contractors.
• Develop fee-based proposals and respond to qualifications packages.
• Collaborate with disciplines to produce well-coordinated drawings and specs.
