Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of ten years of experience and a PE license to design and lead civil projects. You will collaborate with business developers, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables across site grading, drainage, and utility design.

You will manage budgets and schedules, develop technical proposals, and coordinate with clients and contractors to deliver successful projects in a dynamic office setting.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil or environmental engineering degree required.
• PE license in Civil Engineering required.
• At least 10 years of relevant consulting experience.
• Experience with site grading, earthwork, drainage, and utility layout.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil analysis, design, and detailing for diverse projects.
• Lead design teams and manage budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with architect, owner, and contractor on drawings.
• Develop proposals, technical reports, and permitting documents.
• Support marketing/business development activities and client relations.
