Job summary

Coffman Engineers seeks a Senior Civil Engineer with at least ten years of experience for our Texas office. You will work directly with clients, mentor team members, and collaborate across disciplines to design sites, grading, drainage, and stormwater systems while guiding proposals and project execution.

Ideal candidates have PE licensure, ABET-degree, and a track record of leading complex civil projects and business development efforts in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE license required with 10 years of consulting experience.
• Experience leading site grading, drainage, erosion control and utility design.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and schedules.
• Strong communication, coordination with architects/owners/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and develop preliminary to final design calculations and drawings.
• Provide consulting services for life sciences, commercial and infrastructure projects.
• Develop technical proposals and contribute to marketing/business development.
• Coordinate multi-discipline efforts and mentor staff.
• Travel to project sites as required.
