Job summary
Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with at least ten years of experience to lead design, analysis, and project delivery across diverse facilities. The role emphasizes client engagement, business development collaboration, and mentoring a growing team.
The ideal candidate will guide projects from concept through construction, coordinating with architects, owners, and contractors to produce high-quality civil design packages. A PE license and ABET-accredited degree are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil Engineering is required.
- 10 years of applicable industry experience.
- Experience performing consulting services for internal and external clients including Site Grading, Earthwork Calculations, Drainage calculations and reports.
Responsibilities
- Civil analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of projects.
- Manage and design multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead design team efforts.
- Coordinate with architect/owner/contractor for coordinated drawings.
- Develop fee and qualification-based proposals.
