Job summary

Coffman Engineers in Washington state is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer (8+ years) to mentor and lead civil engineers and drafters, coordinate with clients and jurisdictions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on challenging projects.

You will apply engineering skills to design site development plans for permitting, bid, and construction, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative, growth-focused culture at Coffman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required with ability to be licensed in Washington State.
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience in site development.
• Experience collaborating with local and State agency/engineering community is a plus.
• Experience designing site development plans for permitting, bid, and construction.
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations; technical studies; and preparation of site or public improvement grading, stormwater management, and utility plans.
• Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate with other team members.
• Effective technical writing and communication skills
• Strong project management, mentoring, and business development skills are required.
• A desire to work with a collaborative team and to grow professionally.
• Expected annual salary range depending on experience: $115,000-$145,000
