Job summary

Synergis is seeking a Cisco Collaboration Engineer to support a multi-location VoIP platform and UC environment in Atlanta. The role emphasizes responsibility for designing, installing, troubleshooting, and administering enterprise-grade Cisco CUCM solutions and related VOIP systems.

The engineer will manage Cisco SBCs, Gateways, VCS, and collaboration endpoints, with on-call rotations and after-hours support as needed to maintain SLAs across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science or related technology required.
• Extensive experience with VoIP, Telephony, Video and Collaboration in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with voice applications: Dial Plans, Call Routing, Translation patterns, Voicemail, Recording, Monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Engineering, maintenance, and support of Cisco Unified Communications across an enterprise environment.
• Resolve CUCM problems via research, installation, and network management.
• Implement and maintain VOIP network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VoIP/VPN).
• Support telephony systems hardware/software including E911 platforms and recording servers.
• Perform SIP Gateways and CME/SRST gateway tasks, call routing analysis, and troubleshooting.
