Synergis is seeking a Cisco Collaboration Engineer to support a multi-location VoIP platform and UC environment in Atlanta. The role emphasizes responsibility for designing, installing, troubleshooting, and administering enterprise-grade Cisco CUCM solutions and related VOIP systems.
The engineer will manage Cisco SBCs, Gateways, VCS, and collaboration endpoints, with on-call rotations and after-hours support as needed to maintain SLAs across teams.
Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid 2-3 days a week)
Length: 3 years – potential for perm conversion
Rate: $55-60/hr W2 only – this role in not available for C2C
Must be authorized to work on our W2 now and in the future without restriction
We are seeking a Cisco Collaboration Engineer to support our diverse voice platform. The Engineer will be given a high degree of autonomy in daily operations and activities to support VoIP infrastructure solutions in a multi-location and multi CUCM cluster environment. This role will have oversight, administration, and troubleshooting of telecommunication equipment, LAN/WAN protocols and circuit provisioning. The incumbent must become acclimated to the company’s applications, telecommunication systems, VoIP integration, and is able to manage changes within the environment and its effect to related cross-project initiatives.
The primary responsibility for this role is supporting large telephony infrastructure, including designing, installing, troubleshooting, administrating, maintaining enterprise-scale Cisco CUCM solutions, Cisco Media Gateways (SIP, Analog, POTS), Cisco Telepresence VCS and VCS Expressways, and SBC / CUBE Routers (SIP Trunks). ACME Packet SBC experience is a strong plus.
The Cisco Collaboration Engineer will provide advanced level enterprise wide VOIP services and support; this includes but not limited to product design, recommendations, evaluations, testing, troubleshooting, and configuration/implementation duties. We are seeking a self-motivated Engineer that will proactively seek out deficiencies and/or tasks to maintain operational efficiency.
The compensation range for this position is $55 to $60
(dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
