Job summary

CDW is seeking a Cisco Unified Communications (UC) Engineer to support and maintain enterprise voice and collaboration environments within a secure government customer environment. This role focuses on CUCM, IP telephony, and related collaboration technologies in a highly secure SCIF setting.

You will deploy, upgrade, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco UC deployments, collaborate with network and security teams, and provide Tier III support.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience supporting CUCM environments.
Experience troubleshooting Cisco VoIP and IP Telephony in enterprise settings.
Strong knowledge of SIP, SCCP, call routing, dial plans, gateways, trunking, and voice issues.
Experience designing and supporting multi-site Cisco voice solutions.

Responsibilities

Administer CUCM environments and related Cisco collaboration tools.
Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco IP Telephony and video solutions.
Analyze and resolve call routing, call flow, and call quality issues.
Create and review call flows and Call Detail Records (CDRs).
Perform upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management.
Support Unity Connection voicemail systems and IP phone deployments.
Collaborate on multi-site Cisco collaboration designs with stakeholders.
Provide Tier III escalation support for complex voice and network problems.
Monitor voice infrastructure performance and optimize it enterprise-wide.
Document configurations and procedures per customer requirements.
