Job summary

CrowdStrike in the United States is seeking an automation engineer to advance our build, sign, and deployment pipelines across Windows, Linux, and macOS. You will manage code signing, certificate lifecycles, and encryption frameworks, contributing to scalable, secure software delivery from development to cloud.

The role emphasizes Python scripting, Groovy for Jenkins, CI/CD platforms, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud APIs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional software engineering or DevOps/build engineering experience.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
Strong knowledge of encryption/PKI and code signing.
Experience with Groovy for Jenkins pipelines.
Experience operating CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Ansible, Chef/Salt and VMware.
Experience with public cloud APIs (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Ability to collaborate across global teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Manage code signing for binaries across Windows, Linux, and Mac.
Handle certificate lifecycles: issuance, renewal, revocation, storage.
Design and maintain encryption and code signing frameworks.
Identify opportunities to improve operations of existing systems.
Deliver end-to-end improvements from design to deployment for internal customers.
Produce maintainable code with minimal oversight.
Provide user documentation and perform code reviews.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident remediation.
Collaborate with global teams and work remotely.
