Job summary
CrowdStrike is hiring an Automation Engineer to manage code signing across multiple platforms and to design encryption and PKI frameworks for scalable build systems. You will own certificate lifecycles, automate pipelines, and contribute to secure, reliable deployment processes.
Remote-friendly role in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment; 5+ years of DevOps experience and strong Python/Groovy skills are required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering or DevOps/build engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Deep knowledge of encryption/PKI concepts as they relate to code signing.
- Experience writing Groovy for Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD tooling.
Responsibilities
- Manage code signing for binaries across Windows, Linux, and Mac, including Apple and Android platforms.
- Manage certificate lifecycles: issuance, renewal, revocation, and storage.
- Design and maintain encryption, certificate, and code signing frameworks; build automation tooling.
- Lead end-to-end improvements from design through delivery to internal customers.
- Produce clear, maintainable code and provide user documentation; perform code reviews.
- Support on-call build engineer tasks and troubleshoot deployment failures.
- Collaborate with global teams to optimize build/release processes.
